Gladys Zink January 23, 1916 �" December 27, 2008 Age: 92 Residence: Greeley, Colorado Tribute: Gladys Ellen Zink was born in eastern Weld County to Peter and Ella (Miller) Rasmussen. She was a lifelong resident of Weld County, living in the farming communities which she loved very much. She was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife who helped during the harvest driving trucks, tractors, and the combines. Gladys enjoyed sewing and made clothes for her family and others. She was a member of a quilting club and was an avid team bowler for fifty years serving as a team secretary for many of those years. She was a member of the Friendship Alliance Church in Grover. Mrs. Zink died Saturday December 27, 2008 at Kenton Manor in Greeley. Survivors: Two daughters Anne L. Cole of Greeley, and Doris J Williams of Norton, Kansas; a sister Fern Orr of Ft. Collins. Five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: Her parents; her first husband, J. Fred Pendergraft; her second husband, Carson Zink; two sons Richard and Stan Pendergraft, and five brothers. Service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Adamson Chapel. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens. Note: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Women of the Moose, or a charity of your choice c/o Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80634.
