Elaine Fern Kramer

Elaine Fern Kramer, 84 of Greeley, Co. died Monday August 22, 2016 at Hospice of Northern Colorado. Elaine was born November 14, 1931 to Edgar and Amy (Koontz) Bowland in Atwood Kansas. When Elaine was a small child her family moved to Wray, CO. She graduated from Wray High School in 1947. After graduation, Elaine, attended business school and lived in Denver and Holyoke CO. until she moved to Greeley CO. in 1963. On May 20, 1967 she married Mr. Ray Kramer (of Holyoke) at Raton N.M. She and her husband made their home together in Greeley, CO. Elaine worked at State Farm as an Administrator for several years. In her free time she enjoyed spending time outside, gardening and canning her garden goods. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Diane Sherwood; sister,s Doris Scott and Bonnie Flageolle; and brother, Everett Bowland. Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Kramer; son, Mike Sherwood; brothers, Floyd Eby and Lee Bowland; and sister, Clairbel Hart. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 27th at 10:30am at the Holyoke Memorial Park in Holyoke, CO.
