Marvin "MG" Kelly
September 29th, 1927 - November 5th, 2016
Marvin Gene Kelly 89, of Eaton, CO passed away November 5, 2016 at Life Care of Greeley in Greeley, CO. He was born September 29, 1927 in Colorado Springs, CO to Leslie and Beulah Kelly. He grew up in Canon City. He served four years in the Marine Corp where he spent one year in China. He also spent two years in the Army National Guard. He drove a truck for Standard Oil and then for Pure Foods. After that he had his own business hauling sand, gravel and bulk cement for Rocky Mountain Prestress. Marvin enjoyed bowling, golfing and his family reunions. Marvin is survived by his wife Virginia Spahn of Eaton, his sister Idie Friedman of Tom Ball, TX and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sister and four brothers. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Fort Logan National Cemetery Staging Area "A".
