November 9th, 1934 - December 15th, 2016
Robert A Onorato 82, of Milliken, CO passed away on December 15, 2016 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland CO. He was born on November 9 1934 to Jim and Lena Onorato in Greeley Colorado. He married his high school sweet heart Lois Ann Chesnut on April 18, 1954. He graduated from Milliken High School in 1952. He was in partnership with his brother and worked at Onorato Auto Parts and Garage until his retirement in 2006. Bob and his brother in law, Glenn Wertz, formed the Milliken Fire District in 1962. Bob was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Milliken, Milliken Senior Center and Milliken Historical Society. Bob and his wife Lois Ann had the honor of being the grand marshals for the Milliken Beef and Bean Day in 2010. Bob was an amazing grandfather to his grandchildren and never missed a sporting event or any activity his kids or grandkids were involved in. Bob never missed a County Fair or State Fair and was his grandchildren’s biggest supporter. He never missed a chance to film it all or take pictures of everything they were involved in. Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years Lois Ann and his children Bobby Onorato of Milliken and daughter Lisa Simpson (Lenny) of Ault, grandchildren Nikki (Brennen) True of Greeley and Logan Simpson of Shanghai China, and great grandchildren Adley and Gannon True. Siblings, Jim Onorato, Raymond (Patty) Onorato, Edward Onorato, Sarah (Bob) Raith, Rose Grey, Pat Onorato, and Marylou Taylor. He is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Lena Onorato and sister Dora Stevens. Viewing 4-6 p.m. Tuesday December 20, 2016 at Adamson Chapel. Funeral Service 11:00a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Presbyterian Church of Milliken, 201 N. Olive Avenue. Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Milliken and the Milliken Historical Society in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80632.
