Amanda "June” Simpson, 95, of Evans, CO went to be with her Lord on December 20, 2016 at Fairacres Manor in Greeley, CO. She was born on June 29, 1921 in Ullyville, CO to Edward F. and Mary V. (Ward) Craig. She lived, worked and went to school in the Greeley area for the last 80 plus years, attending school in LaSalle, CO, Evans, and Greeley. June attended Aims Community College and then the University of Northern Colorado taking courses in accounting, sewing, and photography. June had a great love for life and enjoyed life to its fullest. She and her husband Art enjoyed the outdoor sports and traveled widely throughout the United States. June was active in the Business Women Association and served several years on the Evans town board. June is survived by her one sister, Margaret Juanita Moser; and one brother, Edward F. Craig, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Art; one brother, John Jackson Craig; and three sisters, Alice Jewell Craig, Dolly Mae Corum, and Loretta Jean Manly. A celebration of June’s life will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 with viewing one hour prior to the service, both at Adamson Chapel. Interment will be in Evans Cemetery.
