Benjamin Michael Llamas

Benjamin "Benny” Llamas, 41, of Evans, CO went to be with his Lord on January 17, 2017 in Evans. Benny was born on June 27, 1975 in Greeley, CO to Leonard and Loretta (Griego) Llamas. He grew up in Greeley and graduated from Greeley Central High School. In 1995 in Greeley, Benny married Angie Ramirez. Benny worked for JBS as a maintenance mechanic. Benny loved classic cars, and was always flipping them. He enjoyed music. The most important part of Benny’s life was people, he was a social butterfly, he loved to help people, he loved his family and was anxiously awaiting the birth of his grandson. Benny is survived by his wife, Angie of Evans; children, Ezekiel (Chantelle) Llamas, Daisha Llamas, Cruz Llamas, and Evann-Jade Llamas, all of Evans; grandchildren, Laila Llamas, Ezekiel Llamas, and one on the way, Antonio Benjamin Llamas; siblings, Leonard Llamas, Jr. of California, Ernie Llamas of Greeley, Lorraine Shade of Evans, Alesia Llamas of Evans, and Dakota Llamas of Greeley; parents, Leonard and Loretta Llamas of Greeley; grandmother, Liva Martinez of Greeley; and mother-in-law, Angelita Navarez. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Viewing will be on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 5-7 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m., both at Adamson. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd Street, Greeley, CO 80631. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
