Anthony "Tony" R. Cafferelli

Anthony R. "Tony Cafferelli Sr. July 5, 1960 �" April 1, 2009 Tony Cafferelli Sr., 48, of Windsor, Colorado died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at his home with his family at his side. He was born to Louis and Maria (Helmlinger) Cafferelli in Syracuse, New York. Tony grew up in Syracuse and graduated from Bishop Grimes Catholic High School in East Syracuse. He attended Clarkston University in Pottsdam, New York. On September 2, 1988 he married Mary Cummings. They moved to Colorado in 1996, living in the Greeley and Fort Collins area. Tony worked as a Chef for Holiday Inn in the Syracuse area. He later became a Sheet Metal worker and worked mainly for U.S. Engineering in the northern Colorado area. He enjoyed woodworking, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, golf, camping, cooking and especially spending time with his family. Tony was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #9 for nine years, TKE Fraternity and was 5 gallon Blood Doner. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Windsor; daughters, Danielle Cummings of Fort Collins, CO, Liz Telford and husband Aaron of Greeley; sons, Corporal US Marines Anthony Cafferelli Jr. of Syracuse and Joseph Cafferelli of Windsor; a grandchild, Mackenzie Woods of Greeley; parents, Louis and Maria Cafferelli of Syracuse; a sister, Josephine Olsen and husband Eric of Binghampton, New York and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2009 followed by Recitation of The Rosary at 4:00 p.m. at Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Avenue, Greeley.
