Kevin Ray Dimmitt

Kevin Dimmitt, 45, of Evans, CO passed away on March 7, 2017 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO. Kevin was born in Greeley on November 24, 1971 to Ray and Beverly (Meineke) Dimmitt. He graduated from Greeley West High School in 1991. During high school Kevin was a member of the FFA and participated in a national competition for tree care. After high school, he attended AIMS Community College where he earned his EMT certificate. Through the years, Kevin worked at Farmer’s Inn, Winograd Steel, Prison Transport Specialist Security and for Larimer County transporting juveniles. Kevin is survived by his sisters, Kristie Dimmitt of Evans, and Karen (Jon-Paul) Nealey of Greeley; aunts, Verda Slaton of Greeley, Verlene Gideon of Greeley, and Marilyn Meineke of Scottsbluff, NE; numerous cousins and friends; and his beloved dog, Blitz. He was preceded in death by his parents. A service to celebrate Kevin’s life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday March 13, 2017 at Adamson with viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to "Weld County Humane Society” or "Weld Food Bank” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
