Eileen Dee, 90, of Johnstown passed away peacefully, Monday, April 3, 2017 at Garden Square Assisted Living in Greeley, CO. She was born December 25, 1926 in Harrison, MO to Douglas & Almina (Holly) Premer. The family moved to the Johnstown area during the Great Depression in order for her father to obtain work with the Railroad. In 1944, Eileen graduated from Johnstown High School and After WWII, she met and married Kenneth Dee, whose family was one of the original Homesteaders in the Johnstown area. She held various jobs throughout her married life but was devoted to being a homemaker. She liked to study the Bible, play the piano and embroidery. Survivors include three daughters, Connie Dee of Johnstown, Sherry Dee of Oregon and Kendra Lenehan of Erie, CO; grandchildren, Tonya Morgan, Christopher Morgan, Corey Saxbury, Joshua Saxbury, Amber Toomey, Keara Lenehan and Krista Lenehan; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Elizabeth Morgan; one sister; and five brothers. Graveside service and Interment will be held at the Johnstown Cemetery, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 3:00pm.
