Blanca Lilia Ortiz, 74, of Greeley, CO passed away May 16, 2017 in Greeley. Blanca was born December 14, 1942 in Moris, Mexico to Manuel and Teodula (Monge) Aguirre. She married Oscar Ortiz on February 24, 1968 in Mexico. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed cooking, sewing (making wedding dresses). She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church where she volunteered in numerous ways, praying for others during their need. Blanca is survived by her husband Oscar; children, Ignacio (Rosie) Ortiz, Sonia (Sergio) Bencomo, Blanca Ortiz (Alberto), Annie (Elias) Alvarado and Gladys (Adrian) Munoz; 20 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; siblings, Elena Perez, Argelia Contreras, Guadalupe Moran and Marina Meraz. She is preceded in death by her parent’s; four brothers; and two sisters. Viewing will be 5-7p.m. Sunday May 21, 2017 with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00p.m. both at Adamson Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 1:30 p.m. Monday May 22, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd St. Interment will follow at Eaton Cemetery.
