Santiago "James" Ramon Gavaldon

James Gavaldon, 41, of Evans, CO passed away on July 10, 2017. He was born on January 2, 1976 in Greeley, CO to Raymond Romero and Anna Gavaldon. James grew up in Greeley and graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1995. After high school, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 11 years as an MP. Most recently James worked for Teletech. James was loud, loved to cook and eat "his perfect bite.” James also liked to work out at the gym, comedy, and karaoke, and had an eye for antiques, style, and fashion. He loved to be on the computer, either on social media or YouTube. James had the biggest heart for kindness, love, forgiveness, compassion, he was a pure light, when James walked in a room people were drawn to him. He loved kids, and kids loved him. He is survived by his parents, Raymond Romero, and Anna Gavaldon; sister, Denise Gavaldon and sister-in-law Gina Sanchez of Erie, CO; nephews, Dominic Smith, Matthew Roper, Elijah Roper, Zach Roper, and Noah Roper; partner, Ryan Dyes; grandmother, Anita Bradburn; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his truck, Daniel. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Viola and Felix Romero, and Johnny Gavaldon; and uncle, Louie Sanchez.
