Betty Lou Kuntz, 92, was born March 9, 1925 in Marion, Ohio to Karl W. and Lena (Allison) Kraft. She passed away on July 27, 2017 at Grace Pointe in Greeley, CO. Kresge stores, was transferred to Freeport, Illinois, where Betty graduated from high school in 1943. She dated Robert George Kuntz whom she married at Embury Methodist Church on January 5, 1946 after Bob returned to Freeport after serving in the Army during WWII. Betty and Bob had two children, Sue Allison and Stephen Robert. Betty worked from home doing bookkeeping for several of Bob’s businesses including the Sizzle Shop, a 1950’s diner and Kuntz Hometown Real Estate. She was quite proud of her hole-in-one and frequently wore a gold necklace that commemorated this event. All of the grandchildren learned to drive the golf cart when visiting Grandma and Grandpa. Three years after her husband Bob’s death in 2004, Betty moved to Greeley, to be closer to family.
