Everett Beverly Feuerstein
August 25th, 1923 - May 23rd, 2009
Everett B. Feuerstein, 85, of Greeley, Colorado died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born August 25, 1923 to John and Mary (Kaiser) Feuerstein in Platteville, Colorado. He graduated from Greeley High School in 1941. After high school Mr. Feuerstein served in the U.S. Navy during WW II, then farmed and later was employed by the Colorado Department of Transportation which became his career. For five years he also owned and operated the Pineview Lodge in the Poudre Canyon. On November 6, 1945 he married Esther Schmidt in San Diego, CA. Mr. Feuerstein enjoyed fishing and hunting, traveling in his motor home, and playing golf. He was a big-hearted person and epitomized the qualities of love and devotion to his wife, children and grandchildren. He lived each day without regrets. Mr. Feuerstein was a past member of the Elks Lodge and received his 45 year pin, and earned the Soil Conservation Award during his farming years. He is survived by his wife, Esther Feuerstein of Greeley; daughter, Deborah Ann Duval of Kalua, HI; son, John Everett Feuerstein and wife Sarah of Boulder, CO; and three grandchildren, Heather, Jamie and Jack Feuerstein all of Boulder. He is also survived two brothers, Clyde and Robert "Dutch” Feuerstein both of Greeley. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2009 in Borgmann Chapel at Bonell Good Samaritan Center, 708 22nd St. in Greeley. Friends may visit from 5:00 �" 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Adamson Chapel or from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday at Borgmann Chapel. Interment will be at Linn Grove Cemetery in Greeley.
