Magdalena Ureste of Greeley, Colorado died Monday, August 17, 2009 at North Colorado Medical Center. She was born April 14, 1943 in Denver, Colorado to Victor and Tomey (Robles) Palomino. She grew up and attended school in Greeley. At age 17, Magdalena met Celestino Ureste in Ft. Morgan. There they married and began their lives together. They were soon blessed with two children- a son, Ricky Ureste and a daughter, Michelle Ureste. Maggie was a homemaker and spent her time raising her children and grandchildren. A dialysis patient for the past 28 years, she received treatment in Ft. Collins and then at Willow Station Dialysis Center in Greeley. She enjoyed the laughter and humor her grandchildren brought into her home. Maggie loved listening to her "Oldies,” watching her "Novelas,” talking with her sisters and spending time with her daughter Michelle. Maggie took pleasure in spending time with family and friends at their homes, especially for holidays and special occasions. Maggie will always be loved and dearly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Ureste of Greeley; grandchildren, Celestino Ureste II, Tomey Alvarado, Amber Ureste, Valerie Alvarado, Christopher Ureste and Joseph Ureste all of Greeley; great grandchildren, Celeste Ureste, Magdalena Muniz, Azalea Alvarado, Perse Vigil and Joseph Ureste, Jr. all of Greeley. She is also survived by three sisters, Frances Gutierrez of LaSalle, CO, Victoria Llamas and Erlinda Palomino both of Greeley; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Celestino Ureste; son, Ricky Ureste; brothers, Richard Palomino, Frank Palomino, John Palomino and Victor Palomino; and sisters, Mary Ann Palomino, Pauline Padron, and Angie Palomino. Friends may visit from 5:00 �" 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Adamson Chapel. Recitation of the Rosary 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.adamsonchapels.com.
