Mildred L. Kielian
April 24th, 1934 - February 12th, 2018
Mildred "Millie” Kielian, 83, of Greeley, CO passed away February 12, 2018 at her residence. She was born April 24, 1934 in Grover, CO to Forest and Julia (Corwin) Myers. Millie grew up in drylands of Grover, Briggsdale, and Cornish, CO. She attended Morning Star School, Salem School, Delta School and Meeker Junior High. On November 20, 1950 she married Louis Mike Kielian in Loveland. Millie was bookkeeper for Louis’ trucking company – Kielian Trucking. She enjoyed gardening, horses, bull riding, Dutch Hops, and listening to George Straight. Millie loved camping and the mountains and time spent with her family. She had the kindest heart of anyone her family knew. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Greeley. She is survived by her son, Joseph Wayne Kielian of Pittsburgh, PA; daughters, Joyce Rose (Roger) Ertmer of Eaton, CO, Jeanne Valeria (Lauren) Mitchell of Wiggins, CO; grandchildren, Joshua Dean Burns, Ty Austin Ertmer, Chelsey Louise Ertmer, Samantha Erin Mitchell; two great grandchildren, Gauge Lawrence England, and Charlotte Rose Renae England; sisters, Pearl Mae Krieger, Francis Myers; and brother, William Myers. Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; parents; grandchild, Jessica Renae Burns; and eight brothers and sisters. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m., both at Adamson. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 915 12th Street, Greeley, CO 80631. Memorial Contributions may be made to "Make a Wish Foundation” in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
