Clifton S. Spelts

Clifton Spelts. 80, of LaSalle, CO a loving husband, father and grandfather passed away Friday February 23, 2018 in Greeley, CO He was born March 14, 1937 in Yuma, CO to Felix and Lois (Zwirn) Spelts. He graduated from Haxtun High School in 1955. He served in the United States Navy for a short time. Cliff married Doris Ludvicek on March 21, 1976 in Rock Springs, WY. Cliff ran heavy equipment for Pipeline Construction for 55 plus years all over the western states. He enjoyed pheasant hunting with his brothers Pete and Ike and nephews Tim and Trevor, he also enjoyed reading and was a member of the NRA. Cliff is survived by his wife Doris, his daughter Dawnette (Louie) Luna, grandchildren Corbin, Alex and Megan Luna, great grandson Brayson, his brother Pete, sister in-law Judy Spelts, nieces Laurie (Pete) Romeo and Michelle (Tim) Radebaugh, nephews’ Tim and Trevor (Leslie) Spelts and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ike. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at LaSalle First Presbyterian Church, 51 Church Ct LaSalle, CO.
