Camille "Cammy" Marie Vannoy

Camille Marie Vannoy, 48, of Gill, CO, was born July 22, 1961in Denver, CO to Homer and Mary (Licata) Meiser. She grew in Denver and graduated from North High School in 1979. After high school Cammy worked for the Denver Public School as an Administrative Assistant. On Nov. 4, 1991 she married Phil Vannoy in Ft. Morgan, CO. They moved to Myrtle Beach, SC where they owned and operated a hotel. They returned to northern Colorado and purchased a ranch in Grover before settling in Gill. In 1999, Cammy began working for the Weld County District Attorney’s Office for eight years before moving to the courthouse as a clerk for Judge Charles Unfug. Cammy’s joy in life was her family. They enjoyed traveling and boating with their "dock family” at Glendo, WY. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her daughters, Cicali and Haylee. Cammy will be remembered for her caring and compassionate nature, her laughter, and her love for life by her family and many friends. Cammy’s untimely death was the result of a traffic accident Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 in Greeley. She leaves behind, her daughters, Cicali Vannoy and Haylee Vannoy of Gill; step-daughters, Melissa and Brittany Vannoy of Denver; brother, Jerry Meiser and wife Stacey of Golden CO; sister-in-law, Mary Lee T. Zalmas of Lake Forest, CA; and nieces and nephews, Amy, Justin, and Brad Watson of California, Katelin and John Varner and Kyle Meiser of Arvada, CO, and a great nephew, Troy Varner also of Arvada. Preceding her in death are her parents and her husband, Phil Vannoy. A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at Grace Church 6400 20th Street in Greeley.
