Alice Elizabeth Diede
September 19th, 1948 - May 29th, 2018
Alice Elizabeth Diede, 69, of Eaton passed away at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 19, 1948 on the family farm in Regent, North Dakota where she grew up and attended school. On June 16, 1973 she married Wayne Dallas Diede in Greeley, Colorado and settled in Eaton in 1979. Wayne passed away in July 1980. She later met Dave Duncan and they spent over 25 years together. Alice worked as a CNA home healthcare provider for a number of years. She loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, gardening, and listening to music, cooking German dishes, time with family, especially her five grandchildren. Thankful to have shared her life are her children, Ronda (Pete) Padilla of Pierce and Autumn (Mike) Kelley of Ault; five grandchildren, Amanda Padilla, Austin and Brittanie Duncan, Andre and Michael Kelley; partner, Dave Duncan of Eaton; siblings, Harold, Jake (Rosalie), Ernest (Mardell) and Gary Wolf, Dorothy Carpenter, Helen (Bob) Donner and Lorraine Mirth. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings; Marvin, Willie and John Wolf, Leota Hogan and Elsie Jacobs. Life Celebration Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4 at the Adamson Chapel with a reception to follow. Interment 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Eaton Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to "ARC of Weld County” or "Pathways Hospice” in care of Adamson, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634. Alice is also having a lily named after her, named "Alice Elizabeth”.
