Homer "Bill” William Sheets, 74, of Galeton, CO passed away on July 9, 2018. Bill was born on September 21, 1944 in Weld County and grew up in Galeton. He graduated from Eaton High School in 1964 and then fell in love and married Karen Elaine Boyer on February 27, 1965 and had three children. Bill was a farmer for ten years, worked for Eastman Kodak for 25 years, and was a volunteer fireman for the Galeton Fire Department for 25 years. Bill loved to ride motorcycles and loved his mustang. After retiring, he loved to go to the mountains, along with taking trips to Las Vegas, NV. Bill is survived by two daughters, Pamela (Brian) Jacobsen, and Linda Bernhard; son, David (Sherri) Sheets; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters; and three brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Coyla (Meek) Sheets; and his loving wife, Karen Sheets. Life Celebration Reception will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Adamson, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634. Condolences may be left for the family at adamsoncares.com.
