Apolonia Mendoza 78, of Log Lane Village, CO died November 23, 2009 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO. Apolonia was born January 18, 1931 in Dr Arroyo Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Apolonio and Maria Cruz (Moreno) Reyes. In 1947 she married Geronimo Mendoza in Mexico. She lived in Scottsbluff, NE area from 1972 �" 2008 where she farmed with her husband. Survivors are her husband, Geronimo Mendoza of Log Lane Village; daughters, Maria Perez of Sidney, NE, Julia Chavez of Log Lane Village, Olivia Villareal of Ft. Worth, TS, Gloria Apodaca of Scottsbluff; son, Hector Mendoza of Phoenix, AZ; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 27, 2009 followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Virgin Guadalupe Catholic Church in Scottsbluff, NE.
