John Anthony Gigliotti

John "Big John” Anthony Gigliotti, 34, of Greeley, Colorado passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born January 17, 1984 in Greeley to Frank and Barbara (Walters) Gigliotti. John was a professional in more ways than the definition of the word. He was a superb business man and a true leader in his occupation. He worked for Wild West Motor Sports and C & H Excavation. A very successful individual in all of his endeavors, John was always available to help young individuals that were looking for jobs and mentoring. His reputation was well known throughout northern Colorado. Numerous individuals have many memories of this wonderful person and his legend, friendship, and professionalism will live on in his memory. John was a positive individual always sharing his beautiful smile and personality with others. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, sports and most of all spending time with his family and friends. After a three year battle with cancer he succumbed to this illness. A courageous and faith filled young man, he was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. John is survived by his parents Barbara and Frank Gigliotti; uncle, Ken Walters; aunts, Mary Stevens, Angela Wiley, Joan Weber and Cathy Gigliotti; and many cousins. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at St. John’s United Church of Christ. A Life Celebration will follow at the Paragon Restaurant, 2725 W. 10th Street for friends to share lunch and raise a glass to John.
