Deborah Kay Hauer

Deborah Kay Hauer, 59, of Denver, CO, formerly of Hereford, CO died January 13, 2010 at Mesa Vista Health Care in Boulder, CO. She was born July 26, 1950 in Grover, CO to James and Barbara (Zink) Hauer. She grew up in Grover and graduated from Grover High School in 1968. Deborah was a legal secretary and enjoyed music, piano playing, the Denver Broncos, rodeo’s and poetry. Survivors are her daughter, Shannon (Chris) Catalano, of Aurora, CO; son, William (Penny) Gallagher, of Grand Junction, CO; five grandchildren; brothers, Steven (Jan) Hauer, of Grover, Kevin (Cheryl) Hauer of Carpenter, WY,; sisters, Vonnie (Bill) Wignall of Bend, OR, Vickie Hindman and Dawn Hauer, both of Greeley, CO. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother and one sister. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at Hereford Community Church followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Grover Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Deborah Hauer Memorial Fund” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
