Brian David McSorley

Long-time Greeley resident, Brian D. McSorley died on September 24th. He was born September 27, 1957 in Delavan Wisconsin to Phillip and Louise McSorley. Following high school graduation, Brian moved from Wisconsin to Greeley becoming, as he called himself, "A Colorado guy.” Living in Greeley gave him opportunities to work at a job he enjoyed and spend time fishing, camping, and getting together with friends. Proud of his Irish heritage, Brian looked forward to his St. Patrick’s Day tradition of providing corned beef for the customers at the Break. For over twenty years Brian was employed at Toddys Market becoming Vice President of Operations. He took pride in knowing customers and co-workers. Brian retired in 2004 due to health concerns. Brian married twice. He is survived by a son, Phillip (Sara); cherished granddaughter, Lilly; sister, Barb (Dennis); niece (Laura); and nephew (Michael). Brian was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beth; and first wife, Kathleen (Kat). The family sends special thanks to Pam (friend and caregiver), Dr. Julie, Pathways Hospice, and staff at the Fort Collins Health Care Center for their care and compassion. Cremation services arranged by Adamson Life Celebration Home. No public services are planned.
