Christopher Salazar, 60, of Greeley, passed away at home surrounded by his family on March 27, 2019 in Greeley, CO. He was born to Higinio and Estephanita (Aragon) Salazar on June 3, 1958 in Greeley, CO. Christopher married his high school sweetheart Kerrie (Thomas) Salazar in 1979. They both met while at Greeley Central High School. Christopher enjoyed food in general, and loved working on grilling skills whenever he could. He truly enjoyed the outdoors. His passion and believes in herbal medicine was big in his life and his Indian heritage. Above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren; they were his pride and joy. Christopher is survived by his wife, Kerri; children, Christina (Ruben) Gutierrez, Rebecca (Juan) Salgado, Samantha Salazar (Daniel Martinez) and Mariah Salazar; 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brother, Manuel Martinez and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings. Life Celebration Memorial will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley, CO.
