Lorraine Stoos
September 6th, 1925 - September 10th, 2019
Lorraine Marjorie Gillis Stoos 94, of Greeley, CO passed away September 10, 2019 at Kenton Manor. She was born September 6, 1925 in Great Falls Cascade, MT to Albert and Ethel (Adams) Gillis. She grew up in Great Falls. During World War II Lorraine drove a truck to help do her part. Lorraine was a wonderful cook and was known throughout Weld County for her fabulous Cinnamon Rolls. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She loved the time she spent with her German Shepard Annie. Lorraine is survived by her children, Sharon Maes, Shirley (Richard) Thompson, Daniel (Kathy) Stoos, Lorraine (Michael) Prochownik, Pamela (Bill) Davenport, Earnest (Laura) Stoos, 19 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Rowan Stoos; daughter, Shelley Ivarson; and grandson, Donald Thompson. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Eaton Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at AdamsonCares.com.
