Elsie "Darlene" Schluter
October 22nd, 1933 - October 16th, 2019
Elsie Darlene Schluter, 85, of Greeley passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Ashley Manor Memory Care. She was born October 22, 1933 in Ault to Gust H. and Ester M. (Anderson) Peterson. Darlene attended schools in Ault, graduating from Ault High School. She married Don Schluter on April 26, 1952 at the Park Congregational Church. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in 2019. Darlene served as a legal secretary for the majority of her adult life. Thankful to have shared her life are her husband, Don, sons; Randy, Steve and Rod, 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Greg. The family would like to thank the staff at Ashley Manor for their love and care of Darlene in her last days. Private inurnment at Linn Grove Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to "St. Jude Children’s Hospital” in care of Adamson, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
