Pearl Mae Krieger May 11, 1928 ~ February 16, 2020 Pearl Mae Krieger, 91, of Greeley, CO, passed away on February 16, 2020 at Life Care Center of Greeley, while surrounded by family. She was born May 11, 1928, in Briggsdale, CO to Forrest and Julia (Corwin) Myers. Pearl grew up in Greeley with a German heritage. She married Henry J. Krieger, who later passed in 1987. Pearl loved music. She played the German Violin-Euk, of which she owned many. Her love of music led her to music for local nursing homes in Greeley. Her favorite kind of music was German Polka, where she and late boyfriend Emil, would go Polka dancing. She also collected around 5,000 Nutcrackers, and collected Christmas miniature village houses, which she displayed in her home year round. She was selected as Queen for Potato Days at Island Grove. As a cook, Pearl loved making Kraut Burgers, and enjoyed warm German Beer with radishes. She enjoyed gardening and nature, when she wasn’t shopping at the Good Will bargain stores in town. Pearl was meticulously organized and had a special place for every item of her collections. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband. She is survived by her children Linda (John) Boyd of Florida, and Arlene (husband Denzil passed in 2019) Packard, of Greeley. Grandchildren; Thomas Henry (Ashley) Packard of Greeley, Denzil Arnold Packard Jr. of Cheyenne, WY, and Marlee & Dakota Packard. Life Celebration Service: Friday, February 28, 10:00am at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Ave, Greeley, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
