Esther (Stugart) Foose went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2020. Born September 29, 1920 to John and Katherine (Wilhelm) Stugart in Longmont, Colorado. She and Reuben Foose were married February 4, 1940 in Longmont, Colorado. From this union were born three children, Beverly (Frank) Slemons, Sheila (Larry) Parson and Dennis (Cindy) Foose. Also survived by grandchildren Jeff (Regina) Slemons, Greg (Flor) Slemons, Debra (Kevin) Jerome, Heidi Seely, Keith Foose, Chris (Sharon) Foose, great-grandchildren, Harley and Gracie Seeley, Gabby and Izzy Slemons, a sister, Jean (Cal) Landau, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband, sisters Katherine Stugart, Pauline Doherty, Norma Davis, Helen Hergenreder, Alma Russell, Rose Carlson, brothers, Ruben Stugart, John Stugart, Ed Stugart, Kenneth Stugart and William Stugart. Esther was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Congregational Church, active in Ladies Aide and had been a Sunday School teacher. She had been a Campfire Girls leader and a leader in both Girl and Boy Scouts, and had volunteered at the Senior Center and R.S.V.P. She had worked at Hesteds and J.M. McDonalds department stores. Her hobbies included sewing, crafting, jewelry making and crocheting. She was a fan of the Colorado Rockies. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday March 25, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 28th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80634 In lieu of flowers Memorial donation may be made to Bonell Good Samaritan Center in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80634
