Richard F. Delgado

Richard Delgado 4/5/1934-12/11/2020 Born in Uvalde, Texas to Catarino and Rita Gonzales and moved to Greeley, CO in 1954. He shared his life for many years with his wife Mary Delgado(deceased). He worked at a local bar, was a sheep shearer and worked in the fields for many years. Richard enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to Spanish Music. He also enjoyed fishing and going to the dog races. He was a great fisherman and passed that on to some of his grandsons today. He was a great cook and we all enjoyed his homemade pork green chili and rice. He loved his grandkids very much and spent a lot it time with them and watching them all grow. Survived by daughter, Naomi Garcia and son Richard Delgado Jr of Greeley. Grandkids- Erica Bernal, Samuel Bernal, Jermane Gutierrez, Aaron Delgado, Rita Viapando Great grandkids - Alayna Bernal, Nathaniel Bernal, Saylem Bernal, Estevan Gutierrez, Bobby Gutierrez, Michael Gutierrez, Jojo Gutierrez, Elijah Viapando, Jordan Vialpando. Great great grandkids - Noah Gutierrez Siblings- Seferino Gonzlaes, Catarino Gonzales JR, David Gonzales, Fred Gonzales, Marie Gonzales Daley, and George Gonzales. Deceased siblings- Daniel Hidalgo, Frank Gonzales, and Tony Gonzales. Private family services.
