Edward E. Stevenson, 78, of Greeley, passed away December 28, 2020 at his home. He was born August 16, 1942 to Robert and Thelma Stevenson. Ed served in the US Army during Vietnam. On April 16, 1968 he married Ruth Johnson in Reno, Nevada. He worked for Campbell’s Soup in Modesto, CA for over 11 years. He then worked at Celetica in Fort Collins for 3 years before retiring. He also worked security at the Budweiser Event Center and loved to work and watch hockey games. Ed loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a diehard Bronco fan and volunteered as a Wrangler at the Greeley Stampede and He was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness Church. Ed is survived by his wife Ruth of Greeley, his children, DeAnna Wooldridge and husband Frank of California; Donna Fitzpatrick and husband Scott Sweet of Evans; David "Bear” Stevenson of Greeley; and Dennis Stevenson of Greeley, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers; Rick, Bill, and Jim. A Life Celebration will be held 3:00pm, Friday, January 15, 2021 at Adamson.
