EJ "Earnest John" Pesigan

It is with great sadness that the family of EJ "Borgy” Borrega Pesigan announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the age of 35 years. EJ was born in Bulacan, Philippines and grew up in Mindoro and Batangas. He attended primary and secondary education at De La Salle Lipa and then moved to New Zealand to complete his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. EJ lived life to the fullest and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed biking, camping with his dog and snowboarding. He also enjoyed spending time at home playing online games and watching anime. EJ relished spending time at the shooting range with his dad, brother, uncle and cousins. EJ was a great blessing to his family. He made it a point to check in with his parents first thing in the morning and before the day ends. He had the most infectious laughter and would tell the funniest and most interesting stories. He was a very positive person and had a way of spreading this positivity with everyone he encountered. He was so thoughtful and never failed to tell his wife and family "I love you” whenever he speaks with them. He would always bring food home or cook the most delicious meals for his family. He doted on his dogs. He built lifelong friendships and kept in constant communication with friends old and new from all over the world. Ej had a great relationship with his wife. He was her person and she was his. They were a great team and completed each other. They joked, laughed and planned the future together. He was a great father figure and loved the kids very much but was also stern when need be. EJ is the beloved eldest son of Efren and Bernadette and beloved grandson of Phoebe (Borrega). EJ will be forever remembered by his partner Sarah (Drnovsek), step-children Alekei and Laika and their dogs Yoda and Moon, by his brother, Eruel John (Kaycee) Pesigan and by his sister, Katherine (Matthew) Trovato. EJ will also be forever remembered by his uncles, aunts and cousins, extended family and dear friends. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernesto Borrega and Pedro and Guillerma Pesigan and his uncles, Alberto and Simeon Pesigan. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00pm on Wednesday, February 17th with a Catholic Rosary at 10:00am Thursday, February 18th at Adamson Life Celebration Home 2000 47th Ave. Greeley, CO 80634.
