Rickey Morris

Rick has departed this world to reunite with loved ones in heaven. He was born April 13, 1959 and passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2021 at his home in Greeley where he lived with his dog Suzy-Q, his brother Gerry and sister-in-law Lovice. Rick was a very kind and gentle soul who loved to help people and always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He loved to play games, especially Spicy Farkle, with his family and friends. Many hours have been spent playing Farkle, Sevens, Uno, and Kings in the Corner, especially during the pandemic. When he could, he loved to go out to various establishments and play poker. Scratch tickets were another favorite, as well as video games and Italian food. He also liked to fish and tried his hand at that whenever camping at a lake with family and friends or at some of the ponds around Greeley. Rick’s last job was working as a dishwasher. Previous to that he also mowed lawns and worked at Schaefer Enterprises. Rick attended the Life More Abundant Christian Church and enjoyed the friendships he made there. He is preceded in death by sister Debra Morris, parents Donald D. and Mildred Morris and his grandparents. Survivors include his brother, Gerry Morris and wife Lovice; nephew Jeff Morris and wife Leslie, two great-nieces Kaylee and Kendyl; niece Amber Rager and Jarrod Rager. There will be a graveside service held on Monday March 1, 2021 for immediate family and closest of friends. A Celebration of Life to honor Rick will be held at a later date to be announced, possibly late spring or early summer. Friends may leave condolences at AdamsonCares.com.
