Gertrude Goodfellow was born in Johnstown, CO to Silas and May (Baker) Jackson. In 1937 Gertrude married Woodrow Goodfellow in Golden, CO. Mrs. Goodfellow worked for Wright-McGill for 10 years. She was a great cook and enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Mrs. Goodfellow died on Sunday December 2, 2007 at her residence. Survivors: sons, Melvin Goodfellow and wife Gracie of Choctaw, OK, and Richard Goodfellow and wife Carel of Austin, TX; daughter, Patricia Mitchell of Greeley, CO; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Preceeded in death by: husband, Woodrow in 2002; grandsons, Randy and Adam; and granddaughter Debbie; and brothers Buster and Ora Jackson. Services: 10:00 a.m. Friday December 7, 2007 at Adamson West Chapel. Visitation: 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday December 6, 2007 at Adamson West Chapel. Interment: Evans Cemetery Note: Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado and/or your choice of charity c/o Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO.
