Richard Allan Haney

Richard Allan Haney was born in Boulder, CO to Lenard Hugh and Wilma Jacqline (Wing) Haney. Richard was kind hearted, funny, a musician and artist. The way his fingers strummed upon the strings of his guitar could make you laugh, cry, or dance the night away, just like his voice when he sang. When you looked at his drawings you know they came from somewhere deep in his soul. Richard loved and treasured his daughter Misty and his brother Lenard more than words can possibly say, one in spirit and the other there each and every day. He will be remembered and greatly missed by numerous cousins, family and friends. Mr. Haney died Monday, December 31, 2007 at North Colorado Medical Center. Survivors: Daughters, Misty R. Haney Rousel and her husband Gilbert of Padstow, Australia, Tana Haney of Kansas; two sons of Kansas; brother, Lenard Jack Haney and wife Becky of Johnstown, CO; sister, Kathy Haney Darnell and husband Richard of Arthur, Il; brother, Timothy Len Haney of Ft. Collins, CO. Also survived by grandchildren, India, Jasmine and Keanu Rousel of Padstow, Australia, Angie Haney-Knodel of Loveland, Co, Nikk Haney and wife Julie of Greeley, Diana Darnell and Chrissy Darnell both of Arthur, Il. Preceded in death by: His parents, Lenard Hugh and Wilma Jacqline (Wing) Haney. Services: Graveside Services10:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2008 at Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor. Interment: Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor, CO.
