Pauline Schlotthauer 96 of Greeley, CO died April 2, 2010 at Kenton Manor in Greeley Pauline was born July 6, 1913 in Windsor, CO to Christ and Catharin (Jeruger) Schmidt. The family settled in the Windsor area. Mrs. Schlotthauer was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Windsor. On January 22, 1933 she married Rudolph Schlotthauer in the church now known as Faith United Church of Christ where the couple had been lifetime members. The Schlotthauers farmed in the Severance area for 25 years. Mrs. Schlotthauer worked for Ken and Pat Monfort as a nanny for twenty years. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. She loved to cook especially German foods. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She so enjoyed all her family being together and planning the menu for the day’s gathering. Pauline is survived by her two daughters, Ruby (Don) Auld of Evans and Florence Johnson of Eaton, her two sons Rudy (Judy) Schlotthauer and Ronald Schlotthauer both of Eaton. She is also survived by her sister Mollie Weiderspon of Windsor, eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; one grandson and one great grandson. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 7, 2010 at 10:30am at Faith United Church of Christ, 1020 Walnut Street, Windsor, with viewing 1hr prior, followed by Interment at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the "Pauline Schlotthauer Memorial Fund” or to the church, in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
