Claude James Garcia

Claude James Christopher Garcia, 67, of Greeley, CO died April 4, 2010 at his home. Claude was born December 13, 1942 in Greeley to Alvin V. and Juanita M. (Lopez) Garcia. He graduated from Greeley High School in 1961, served honorably in the U.S. Army and was owner of CJ Printing. Claude lived with gusto, and he quietly and gently enjoyed time with family, gardening, building, remodeling, camping, and helping others. He finally realized that he could enjoy vacationing and relaxing. Claude’s love for his family is boundless and everlasting. His love was a reflection of love. As he loved so was he loved. He is survived by his wife Lena; their children and spouses, Michelle and Robert Jaramillo, Jeffery and Charla Garcia and Amy Garcia; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Claude is also survived by his brother, sisters, and their spouses, Abe and Jenny Garcia, Annabelle and Tom Canzona, Lori and Woody Sadler and Dorothy and Bill Rodman. Claude joins his parents, Alvin V. and Juanita M. Garcia; his son, Christopher James; and granddaughter, Jenna Garcia in Heaven where we know there is much rejoicing. We are at peace here on earth with the knowledge that he has gained eternal life with our Lord and will continue to hold us safe and close to his heart. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 9, 2010 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
