Billy "Bill" Robert Rupe

Bill R. Rupe, 87 of Greeley, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at North Colorado Medical Center. He was born on April 3, 1933 in McCook, Nebraska to Orville and Anna (Schaffer) Rupe. He grew up in Burlington and later moved to Sterling where he graduated from high school and received his Associate Degree from Northeastern Junior College. On April 19, 1953, he married Carol Rupe in Burlington. Bill worked as a TV repair technician for many years in the Greeley area. After he retired, he then worked part-time at JC Penneys. He enjoyed building remote control model airplanes, fishing, water skiing, attending church and most recently collecting diecast cars. Bill is survived by his son, Rick Rupe of Kimball, NE; grandchildren, Kyle Rupe of Webster, SD, Jenna Andrews of Loveland, CO and Justin Andrews of Greeley, CO; great-grandchildren, Kaytlyn Shepherd of Webster, SD, Karsyn Rupe of Webster, SD and Logan Andrews of Greeley; and his sister Virginia Mason of Grand Junction, CO. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol, his parents, daughter Robynn Andrews and grandson Christopher Rupe. Private family services will be held. Interment Evans Cemetery.
