Henry Robert Lewandowski
February 12th, 1941 - July 16th, 2007
Henry "Hank” Lewandowski was born on February 12, 1941 in Teaneck, New Jersey to Valentine and Margaret (Moore) Lewandowski. Hank passed away July 16, 2007 at McKee Medical Center. Hank was an enthusiastic hunter who fell in love with this area while on a hunting trip in the late 1960’s, and relocated his family here shortly after that trip. He had a successful career as a home builder, building many homes in the Loveland and Fort Collins area. He also played professional baseball for one year until an injury shortened that pursuit. He later took up golf and found a replacement. After retirement, he found peace volunteering with Volunteers of American until he was overcome with neuropathy and pulmonary hypertension. Hank will be deeply missed by his family and friends. May his faults be written in the sands and his virtues on the tablets of love and memory. Survivors: His son Darren of Greeley, daughter Debby Cisco and husband Morris of Fort Collins, brother Walter and wife Linda of Tucson, Arizona, sister Margaret Hart and husband Mickey of Gastonia, North Carolina, two grandchildren, Kirshawana and Kolyn Cisco of Fort Collins, and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Services: 11:00 a.m. Friday at Adamson West Chapel. Note: Memorial contributions may be made to VOA Colorado Branch in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
