Lydia Erbes, 92, of Windsor, CO died April 29, 2010 at Windsor Health Care. Lydia was born October 11, 1917 in Fort Morgan, CO to Conrad and Magdalena (Bott) Greenwald. She moved to Windsor and a child and attended Windsor schools. She married Jacob Erbes in 1935.They built a home in Windsor where she resided for the remainder of her life. Lydia was a postal Clerk for 25 years and retired in 1978. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Faith United Women’s Fellowship and the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia. Lydia is survived are her two children; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Private memorial services were held. Memorial contributions may be made to "Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado” and/or "Faith United Church of Christ” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
