Matt Anthony Wagner died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the age of 96 in Canby, Oregon. Matt Anthony Wagner was born to Mathias A. and Magdelene (Boesch) Wagner September 11, 1917 in Sterling, Colorado. Matt was married to Hazel (Gier) Wagner for over 70 years and they had 9 children together. Matt retired from the U.S.A.F. in 1966 with the rank of Lt. Colonel. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Matt on March 22, 2014 at 11 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Canby, Oregon, followed by a luncheon reception. Inurnment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon, on Monday March 24, 2014 at precisely 10:30 AM with full military honors presented by the United States Air Force.
