Garlan May Jacobson: August 31, 1925—June 29, 2021 Our beautiful, courageous and selfless mom is now with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born to Miron and Maggie Magnuson in Lexington, Nebraska. She married Jack F Jacobson on July 17, 1944 and lived in Lexington until 1960, then moved to Lakewood, CO where she lived until 2014. She came to live with her daughter, Patti Jacobson, in Greeley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Donald and Loren Magnuson, her husband Jack, a baby, Daniel and her daughter Susan Jacobson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Anna Jacobson of Germontown, TN, daughter, Patti Jacobson of Greeley, granddaughter Julie Hight of Memphis, TN and four great granddaughters, Lucy, Violet, Hermione and Adelaide Hight of Memphis. She most recently has been a member of P.E.O, an international women’s organization, and Hearing Loss Association of America. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington, NE on July 9 at 11am and a memorial service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on August 6, 2021 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, please send gifts to Bethel Baptist Church, 2307 17th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
