James E. Gardner
August 2nd, 1946 - August 7th, 2021
James Gardner, 75, passed quietly in his home on August 7th, 2021, after battling kidney disease and heart problems. He was born August 2, 1946, in Arlington, Virginia to Joseph and Anna Belle (Bunton) Gardner. His family loved him very much. James loved VW cars, car shows and belonged to the Volkswagen Enthusiasts of Colorado. His other passions were antique furniture and traveling. He was always willing to go to Disney with his kids. His greatest love was always his family and he especially loved hugs from his grandkids. James is survived by his loving wife Shirley, two children William (Carrie) Garnder, Mattie (Phillip) Balliet, and 4 grand-children Beau, Belle, Resse and Nash. A Life Celebration will be held 10:00am Friday, August 20 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Ave. Greeley, CO 80634. Interment will follow at Johnstown Cemetery, 23101 CR 13, Johnstown, CO 80534. A reception will be at the Dreams and Dragonflies Event Center 5194 Co Rd 50, Johnstown, CO 80534.
