Ruth Eileen Reuwsaat

Ruth Weber Reuwsaat, 80, of Greeley, CO died May 29, 2010 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Ruth was born November 21, 1929 in Grover, Co to Bruce and Mildred (Gagnon) Weber. She graduated from Nunn High School. She was employed for Jean Eicheim and Ed Sidwell during her high school years. In September 1947, Ruth started working for Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph. She worked in Ault, CO for four years and when it turned to dial she transferred to Denver, CO where she worked for ten years. In 1960 she transferred to Whittier, CA where she worked as a long distance operator with split hours again. On September 6, 1962 she married Norman Reuwsaat. On March 7, 1965 her daughter Tina was born. They lost a baby girl in January 1966 and a baby boy December 1967. In 1968 they adopted a baby boy, Troy. Ruth quit the telephone company when they adopted Troy saying the telephone company would take her back when she was ready. She donated two years in the health room at Epiphany School before she was hired by Sr. Andreen as a teacher aid. She worked there for eight years. Ruth worked for Kelly Services until she was hired again at the telephone company where she completed 30 years of service before retiring and moving to Greeley in 1992. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Renee Reuwsaat Sanders of Greeley; five grandchildren, Colin Reuwsaat of El Monte, CA, Jonathan Serna of Flagstaff, AZ, Jessica Serna, Tristan Robbs and Cody Robbs all of Greeley; and a brother, Duane Weber of White Bear Lake, MN Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; two brothers; and three children. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010 followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 at St. Peter Catholic Church 915 12th street, Greeley. Memorial contributions may be made to the "Grandchildren’s Education Fund” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
