Leah Troudt, 89, of Windsor, CO passed away July 18, 2010 at Life Care Center of Greeley. She was born Leah Strauch April 13, 1921 in rural Windsor, CO to Jake and Mary Strauch. Leah married Glenn Troudt on November 22, 1939. With Great Western Sugar Company they moved many times around Northern Colorado, Bayard, NE and Goodland, KS. Early in life Leah worked hard as a housekeeper, farm laborer and later as a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Leah’s life has brought such joy to so many, her will and courage will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sons, Glenn Jr. (Susan) of Longmont, CO, Dennis (Susan), of Cheyenne, WY; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandchild; eleven brothers and sisters. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 at Faith United Church of Christ, 1020 Walnut, Windsor followed by interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to "Faith United Church of Christ or Charity of Choice” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
