Ronald Dodge, 85, of Greeley, CO peacefully passed away August, 10, 2010 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado. He was born March 3, 1925 in Salisbury, MO to Lewis and Ethel (Lester) Dodge. He attended Moberly High School and later served in the US Army for three years serving in the Philippines and New Guinea. After returning home to Missouri, he married DeLores Jean Sheridan in 1948. He, DeLores and baby daughter moved to Greeley in 1950. Ronald worked for School District 6 for 35 years before retiring to their home in the Poudre Canyon above Bellview, CO. They later lived in Ft. Collins, CO and Sun City, AZ, they returned to Greeley in 2005. Ronald is survived by his wife DeLores, daughter Connie (Bill) Myers of Steamboat Springs, CO, twin brother Donald Dodge of Graham, WA, brother Charles E. Dodge of Greeley, and sister Helen Haley of Mexico, MO. A Memorial Service will be held Friday August 13, 2010, 11:00 AM at Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to "Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
