Thomas G. Holman
March 10th, 1934 - September 6th, 2010
Thomas G. Holman, 76, of Greeley, CO passed away September 6, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. Tom was born May 10, 1934 in Brighton, CO to Albert and Elizabeth (Kramer) Holman Sr. He moved to the Kersey area as a young man where he met and married JoAnn Flot. They were married 54 years in May. He served in the US Army in Baumholder Germany from June 1957 to May 1959. He was then transferred to XVI USA Corps (Reserve) in 1961. He was again called to active duty during the Berlin Crisis. He served until October 1962. Tom retired from North Colorado Medical Center in 1997. Tom enjoyed camping and fishing in the Colorado Mountains. His best time was spent with his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn of Greeley; son, Kevin of Hayden, CO; two daughters, Janae Meadows of Greeley and Denise (Michael) Villa of Forest Hills, NY; grandchildren, Jaycee and Jade Holman of Hayden, Jahveya and Michael Meadows of Greeley and Nathan and Matthew Villa of Forest Hills. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack and two sisters, Mary Ann Foster and Barbara Clause. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday September 10, 2010 at St. Paul’s Congregational Church, 1525 43rd Avenue, Greeley. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to "St. Paul’s Congregational Church” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
