Alice Marie Huerter

Alice Marie Huerter,76, of Greeley, CO passed away September 17, 2010 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Alice was born February 10, 1934 in Denver, CO to Herbert and Margaret (Mahoney) Sullivan. She attended Big Bend School and graduated from College High in 1951 and helped organize numerous class reunions for College and University High School. Alice married Cletus Huerter on June 21, 1956 in Platteville, CO. She enjoyed traveling and worked for Cowles Tax Service for 41years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Alice is survived by her husband, Clete of Greeley; sons, Dan (Cathy) of Greeley and Tom (Kimberly) of Loveland, CO; daughters, Regina Huerter of Denver, CO, Anne Huerter of Wheat Ridge, CO and Jeanette (Michael) Richards of Greeley; grandchildren, Devin, of Greeley, Megan of Denver, Amanda of Loveland and Aidan of Greeley. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Herbert Sullivan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 6-7pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Adamson Chapel. Funeral Mass 12:00 pm Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church 2222 23rd Avenue, Greeley. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your local chapter of the "American Red Cross” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
