Christine Aab

Christine (Davis) Aab was born November 10, 1922 in Tigris, MO. to Bryan and Laura (Todd) Davis. She died Nov. 5, 2010 at her home with family. She graduated from Greeley High School in 1942. She married Johnnie Aab December 21, 1943 in Windsor, CO. After their marriage they had a dairy farm in Weldona, CO and farmed for many years in the Windsor, Kuner, Platteville, and Gilcrest area. Christine was employed at Del Farm Grocery from 1963-1971 as bakery manager. She then spent the next 16 years as bakery manager for King Soopers #32 and retired in 1987. After her retirement she enjoyed the Colorado Rockies, babysitting, sewing and reading. She also enjoyed traveling to visit her children and grandchildren. Christine is preceded in death by her husband Johnnie; her parents; two brothers, Kenneth and Cecil Davis; and one sister, Louise Henning. Christine is survived by her children, James Aab of Denver, CO, Judy Wass of Bolivar, MO, Susan White of Tempe, AZ, Steven Aab of Greeley, CO and Roxann Cordova of Pueblo, CO, eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Donnie Davis of Coweta, OK and one sister, Lorene Wetzbarger of Denver, CO. Visitation will be from 4-6pm Thursday at Adamson Chapel. Graveside Service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to "Meals on Wheels” who provided loving, caring service to Christine for many months in care of Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 86034.
