Marshall Berry Adams
October 16th, 1965
Marshall B Adams, 64, of Greeley, CO died Saturday, October 16, 1965 at Weld County General Hospital where he had been a patient for the past three weeks. He had been ill for two months. Born April 11, 1901 in Tazewell County, IL to William M. and Lula (Hill) Adams. He moved with his family the following year to a farm in Reno County, KS and later to Boulder where he lived from 1924 until 1930 when he came to Greeley. Since living in Greeley he had worked for Weld County Garage as manager of the Bulk Station. He was married in 1955 to Dorothy Jean Campbell in Colorado Springs. Mr. Adams was a member of the First Christian Church and Greeley Lodge No 809. BPOE and served as vice chairman of the Polio Foundation Drive. Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son, John Robert Adams of Santa Ana, CA; a daughter, Betty Jean Adams of Greeley; and four granddaughters. Also surviving are two sisters, Miss Agnes L. Adams of Carbondale, IL and Miss Mary Joyce Adams of Denver, CO. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 1965 at Adamson Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
