Ronald Wayne Wyatt, 59, of Leadville, CO passed away May 10, 2011 in Wolcott,CO. He was born April 24, 1952 in Amarillo, TX to Bill and LeAnna (Cook) Wyatt. Ron attended University of Northern Colorado where he received his degree in Kinesiology. He married Peggy Korgan at his parent’s home in Greeley on October 24, 1987. His father, Bill Wyatt performed the ceremony. Ron was a Black Belt in Karate and owned a Karate School while living in Greeley. He had lived in Leadville since 1999 and owned Winter Hawk Dog Sled Adventures. Ron truly enjoyed the outdoors, skiing, back packing and climbing. He loved spending time with family and friends. His family will remember his as a hard worker and a very independent free spirit who lived life to the fullest. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Wyatt; mother, LeAnna Wyatt; daughter, Heather Blackwell; son, Austin Korgan; sisters, Sandy (Russ) Harris, LeAnn Wyatt; brothers, Steve (Sandy) Wyatt, and Billy (Stephanie) Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Adamson Chapel. Memorial Contributions may be made to the "Ron Wyatt Memorial Fund” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
